Week 7 & 8: Our move and more

Well I've been a little slack lately. There's not really that much to talk about. We are getting hammerd with snow in Kansas as we speak. We have close to 10 inches outside. Steve and I went out and went for a walk in it earlier and took some pictures. The weather in KS has been really crazy lately. On Sunday it was really pretty and warm out and now we have tons of snow with Fort Riley and everything else closed.

Steve and I are getting ready for our big move back to North Carolina. We are really excited about coming home. It is 45 days from today that Steve starts his terminal leave. Our house is coming together room by room. My mother in law sent me some pictures last night of the dining room. My dad and Steve's grandpa have been getting the dining room ready for a while now and it is really beautiful.

Steve joined the Army Reserves recently. His new unit will be in North Carolina. He will have to report one weekend a month and two weeks during the summer time. His new contract is for two years. We are really excited to experience this together.

We have a new member of the Dillard family (No, I'm not pregnant)
We got a puppy!! She is a little chihuahua, She is white with black on her. It was my "favorite" cousin's dog that had puppies. There were only two girls. My Nana and I are giving those their forever homes.  Now just to decide on a name for her before she leaves her mom to go stay at my parents until Steve and I move home!

My ankle has been doing awesome. My physical therapist is seriously one of the best people ever. He has helped me improve so much. I am now walking wonderfully, jumping, running backwards and forwards. It feels amazing. I think GOD for the doctors in Kansas that were able to help me with my surgeries and especially for Nick (my pt) who has made me look forward to running and physcial activity.
Not only is he my physical therapist but he has invited Steve and I to a bible study at his church. We are super excited about this and can't wait to get started and see what it's like until we move.
The Lord always puts the right people in your life at the right time.
